Merlot from young vines planted on red clay and Syrah from seventy years old vines on limestone. After a week on the skins for the first and three for the latter, the wine rests for nine months in fibreglass before bottling. A luminous red in the glass displays a mix of red berries, bitter herbs and brine. Tannins and acidity are perfectly balanced here, making it a perfect wine for the mild seasons.
