We are thrilled to share three new arrivals from Davide Andreatta, the vignaiolo behind Il Ceo.
Combining a hands-on approach to farming with a thoughtful, ever-evolving approach to winemaking, Davide started his own project with the 2013 vintage, after several years working alongside local growers.
Based in Breganze, in the heart of the Veneto, he farms several plots across the surrounding hills, on the edge of the Prealps. Here, vines have been cultivated for at least a thousand years, growing on volcanic rocks and glacial morainic soils. Following organic and biodynamic principles, Davide focuses on soil vitality and works with minimal inputs to prevent vine diseases.
These latest releases reflect Davide’s growing focus on the local varieties of Breganze. Vespri Frizzante 2025, Il Ceo’s iconic Vespaiola frizzante, comes in both standard and magnum formats, while Frizzante Rosato 2024, a blend of Merlot, Groppello and Vespaiola, offers a layered sparkling rosé with notes of wild berries and citrus. Completing the trio, Togo 2024 brings together Vespaiola, Pedevenda and Glera Lunga, with whole-bunch and skin maceration lending complexity, delicate aromatics and a subtle saline edge.
