Montepulciano d'Abruzzo sourced from an old vineyard in Contrada Querceto, Atessa, located three hundred meters above sea level. After a fortnight on the skins, the wine is pressed into an acacia barrel and bottled the following August. The result is a red of gorgeous density and fragrance, with dark cherries and dried herbs. The palate is deep without excess weight, displaying neat tannins and minerals.
