
Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from the plot on the hills of San Giorgio di Perlena, with a splash of Vespaiola from Zugliano. Fifteen days on the skins for the reds with some whole bunches, a couple of days on the skins for the Vespaiola. The wine aged in a fibreglass tank and a barrique for eight months before bottling. From a mitigated vintage, this is a sanguine red wine, with scents of wild berries and savoury spices.
