A blend of Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella from old vines grown on the calcareous clay slopes of Monte Bastia at 470 meters above sea level. The grapes were de-stemmed and spent ten days on the skins in fiberglass tanks. After fermentation, most of the wine was moved to small barrels to age for six months. It is fragrant and perfumed, with notes of white pepper, blood orange, and fresh licorice. The sleek palate shows incredibly smooth tannins and excellent length.
