Carricante from the vineyard planted by Gloria's father in Località Caselle, Milo, facing east at eight hundred meters above sea level. The soil here is composed of volcanic sand and stratification of lapilli, small rock fragments deposited after volcanic eruptions. The grapes are de-stemmed and pressed into fiberglass to age for nine months. After a year in bottle, this white wine is bright and elegant, with compelling notes of pomelo, white almond and propolis.
