Carricante from the vineyard planted by Gloria's father in Località Caselle, Milo, facing east at eight hundred meters above sea level. The soil here is composed of volcanic sand and stratification of lapilli, small rock fragments deposited after volcanic eruptions. The grapes are de-stemmed and pressed into stainless steel to age for nine months. The resulting white wine is bright and elegant, with compelling notes of pomelo, white almond and propolis.
