
A rare red wine from Nikolas, blend of Merlot, Schioppettino, and some Ribolla Gialla from the cru Montona. Harvested in late September and mostly destemmed, after five days the grapes were pressed into old barriques to finish the fermentation. Bottled after one year, the result is an elegant and pristine red wine. With complex aromatics and a refreshing, lively palate, this is hard to compare to any other red we have tried from this region.
