New from Tre.mi.la.'s Gloria di Paola

June 2026

Three new volcanic wines from Tre.mi.la.'s Gloria di Paola have just joined our list.

Once an architect and natural guide, Gloria now cultivates 2.5 hectares organically on Etna's slopes. Growing up on the volcano's sunlit Mediterranean side, she was drawn to wine by her grandparents' devotion to viticulture, later spending several seasons working alongside local winemakers before starting her own adventure in 2019.

In the field, Gloria works by hand, treating the vines with little more than sulphur, zeolite, and propolis. She sows green manure of field beans, mustard, and lupine to feed the soil. In the cellar, she intervenes lightly, letting the volcano speak through the grapes.

This release covers three wines from the dry 2024 vintage. Three expressions of local varieties from a unique vineyard in Contrada Caselle, Milo. A place of unreal charm, where old vines of Carricante, Nerello Mascalese and Catarratto grow at 800 meters above sea level, between the volcano's peak and the crystalline sea.
