We are thrilled to unveil the first release of the 2023 vintage from our very first producer and dear friend, Marco Turco.
On the volcanic hills of Breganze, nestled at the foot of the Asiago plateau in Central Veneto, 2023 brought a warmer, more generous vintage than the lean and dry 2022. With a touch of September rain, the grapes arrived in the cellar bursting with flesh and maturity, giving wines that are expressive, open, and beautifully textured.
Here in his sixth vintage, Marco farms four small parcels planted with the local Vespaiola and the international Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, working with extreme respect for the soil and nature. In the cellar, his approach focuses on processing nothing but the grapes to vividly bring the land’s energy and tension to life.
This release includes the vibrant Supernova, available both in bottles and magnums, alongside the beautifully textured Vespasi Vigne Vecchie, and the lifted and bright Lucifer PN, crafted from a single barrique of Pinot Noir.
Together with these, we are happy to offer some of the Lucifer 2022 Marco kindly kept in the cellar for us.
