The 2024 Bidon! Bidon! from Fora In Vigna has finally arrived!
Giovanni Bottazzi and Simone Fanton, both active in the wine scene for the last couple of decades, took over two hectares of Vigna del Roccolo in 2020. This is a stunning forty-years-old vineyard planted on a calcareous hill facing southeast on the Colli Berici in Central Veneto. Benefiting from the good exposure and the incredible work the duo has done on the soil in the last six years, the native Tai Rosso and Garganega are farmed chemical-free.
From a balanced and generous vintage, together with the gorgeous rosato frizzante Bidon! Bidon!, we received a good stock of Pontaron - a flashy white blend of skin-contact and direct-pressed Garganega.
Both low in alcohol and with a tonic, refreshing character, these wines are incredibly well-suited for the warm season already upon us.
