We are delighted to share the latest release from Alberto Buratti of Faedesfa.
On the northern slopes of the Colli Euganei in central Veneto, Alberto farms three and a half hectares of vines. A unique place where exposure and pristine surroundings, combined with mineral-rich soil, create an ideal environment for truly respectful viticulture. From his first vintage in 2020, Alberto's approach in the cellar has been sensitive and experimental, avoiding invasive practices and additives.
Even in a complicated vintage like 2024, plagued by early vine disease and consequent low yields, Alberto's intuition and wise winemaking approach have created intriguing wines of unique vibrance and character that stand apart.
This release features his iconic Cabernet Franc, Franko, together with two delicious white wines, SB and R. Alongside these, we received a few cases of "Nello Spazio" from the 2023 vintage - a perfumed, savoury expression of the local Corbinello variety.
Alberto will pour a lineup of new and old wines this Sunday afternoon, 7th of December, at 107 in Lower Clapton. Everybody welcome.
